Dolly Parton, born as Dolly Rebecca Parton in the city of Pittman Centre in Tennessee, United States of America on the 19th of January 1946, Dolly Parton has risen to the very highest level of stardom. Dolly Parton, as a child, she was raised in a one-room house perched by a river in a little community in East Tennessee. Soon enough, her talents became noticed outside her church and she started featuring on local radio and television stations in various parts of the state. By the time she became a teenager, she was already recording with Goldband Records, an upcoming label from Louisiana. It was during this period she met some of the greatest influences of her career.
