One of the most well-known names in a Hollywood, Maries Osmond is a multi-faceted artist who has performed as a successful singer, television personality, dancer, actor, author, entrepreneur, philanthropist, and public speaker for five decades in the entertainment industry.
Marie Osmond was born as the youngest child and only daughter of Olive May (mother) and nine children of George Virl Osmond in Ogden, Utah on the 13th day of October 1959. She and her eight brothers (Virl, Tom, Alan, Wayne, Merrill, Jay, Donny and Jimmy Osmond) were brought up as Christians.
She was previously in a relationship with an acting student, Jeff Clayton. The couple was engaged in 1979.
She later married her first husband to basketball player Stephen Lyle Craig at the Brigham Young University on June 26, 1982. On June 20, 1983, they welcomed their only baby Stephen James Craig. They divorced in 1985 because of some personal disputes.
She married Brian Blosil in October 1986 at the Jordan River Temple in Utah the following year. Two children Rachael Lauren (1989) and Matthew Richard (1998) was born. They also adopted Michael Bryan, Brandon Warren, Brianna Patricia, Abigail Olive May, and Jessica Marie, five more children. Jessica's daughter is bisexual. In April 2009, Osmond revealed the fact and mentioned that she is living in Los Angles with her partner.
The couple announced on 4 March 2011 that they were divorcing. In May 2011, in a small ceremony at the Las Vegas Nevada Temple, she remarried her first husband Craig and wore the same dress from her first wedding.
Her son Michael killed himself on 26 February 2010 by jumping from his apartment's eighth floors. At the age of 12, Source reported being in rehabilitation. He struggled with depression and addiction. Back in 1999, Osmand suffered from postpartum depression.
