Paris Hilton is a media personality, model, actress, fashion designer born on February 17, 1981, in New York City, New York, the U.S. to father Richard Howard Hilton, a businessman, and mother Kathleen Elizabeth Hilton a socialite and actress. She is the eldest child out of four children growing up in Beverly Hills, California. She grew up as Roman Catholic.

Hilton began her career as a model when she was a teenager after getting signed by a modeling agency, Trump Model Management. She was named as the leading It Girl of New York in 2001. Her sex tape with her former boyfriend Rick Salomon in 2003, lifted up her career and was a part of the reality TV series The Simple Life.
